Not everyone’s a marathon runner. But when it comes to raising money to help save the sight of people in the developing world, we can use every skill you’ve got! Baking, knitting, hiking, singing, swimming – whatever you love doing, do it for Sightsavers. You’ll change people’s lives, and probably your own in the process.
Once you’ve decided on a challenge to set yourself, head over to our JustGiving page and create your event. Then share it with everyone you know and invite them to sponsor you before you have time to change your mind, if you're like some of us who need the fear of public shaming as a motivator!
For any help with setting up an events page, information on raising money for Sightsavers or if you want a fundraising pack, get in touch with our events team: firstname.lastname@example.org or 01444 446710.
And if you do happen to be a marathon runner, the events team can talk you through how to get a place in the London or Brighton marathons for 2014.
